Olympus Diego Tip Display
SONALYSTS, in conjunction with emg3 based in Falmouth, ME, designed and fabricated an interactive display for Olympus's Diego product line for use at industry trade shows. The display consisted of a hands-on kiosk that allowed surgeons to use the Diego device to cut and grind samples of synthetic bone so that they could experience the unit in real time. The interactive display also featured a high definition camera that captured the Diego device while in use and projected real time images to two 32" LCD screens. The interactive component of the Diego display required a complex drainage system with concealed liquid and a vacuum system. The display was first used at the AAO-HNSF Conference in Boston.
