Analogic Corporation, located in Peabody, MA, designs and manufactures high performance, CT-based, security imaging systems for both domestic and global markets. Analogic’s new eXaminer SX® Explosive Detection System (EDS) is designed for use in high-traffic airports to scan baggage quickly and efficiently.

To support the marketing of this new system, Sonalysts was asked by Analogic to create an animation that shows how its unique 3D volumetric imaging technology automatically detects a wide array of threats in luggage. Working with the Analogic engineering team, Sonalysts’ animators developed 3D Models and animations using a combination of CAD data, digital footage, and technical information to accurately depict the specialized scanning and display technology. Analogic is currently using the 3D animation at tradeshows, in sales presentations, and it will soon be available on their website.
